Don’t believe everything you read in the papers Part 1

August 17, 2008

More than 1,000 people a week are taking the plunge and seeking out a career in plumbing, a new report has revealed.

Building Trade Skills Centres said there had been a clear increase in the numbers wanting to go on a plumber training course in the past few months.

The group said 4,500 freshly-trained plumbers would be required in the UK every year until 2012 just to keep up with demand.

Biggest load of rubbish i’ve heard in ages, there is less and less plumbing work for self employed tradesmen due to insurance schemes and a glut of new plumbers will only make life harder. I know plumbers that have given it up because its so hard to get the volume of work we used to. I’ve had to increase my advertising spend x4 to bring in the same work i was getting 3 years ago and thats still not enough.

Do not get bottled water
Instead of bottled water get a reusable container to carry water. Also you can get a filter to make your home tap taste more like bottled water. It is definitely more cost efficient.
